Death is an uninvited guest. Every human being will die some day. No one can escape this universal obligation. It is not only a fact and reality to all human being, but the absolute Truth of God’s Word:
“And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die… When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it." Genesis 2:16-17; Genesis 3:6 NKJ
“Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.” Romans 5:12 NKJ
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die…”Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 NKJ
“And as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment.” Hebrews 9:27 NKJ
“It is better to spend your time at funerals than at festivals. For you are going to die, and you should think about it while there is still time.” Ecclesiastes 7:2 NLT
“None of us can hold back our spirit from departing. None of us has the power to prevent the day of our death. There is no escaping that obligation, that dark battle. And in the face of death, wickedness will certainly not rescue those who practice it.” Ecclesiastes 8:8 NLT
